What will your day look like?
As a Store Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the service operation in our retail store. You will ensure the store operates efficiently and effectively and be responsible for motivating and invigorating all of your employees to provide our customers with the best store experience, fresh food offerings and customer service at all times, thus hitting key store targets. You will also promote positive culture of a proactive approach to all HSE rules and regulations, with a safety first mind-set in everything we do.
Your Responsibilities:
- To oversee and ensure the smooth running of the stores.
- You will work collaboratively with your Regional Store Manager in setting, monitoring and achieving the sales targets set out with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and other KPIs.
- You will insure all new employees are inducted and trained to the highest standards in all aspects of their role, in accordance with policies, procedures and best practice of the company;
- You will be responsible for ensuring security and health and safety standards upheld, protecting customers and employees through providing a safe store environment during COVID19 and thereafter.
- You will be encouraging Staff to engage in upselling promotional offers and helping to train staff to identify opportunities to upsell and how to do so.
- Stock Control Management is a key part to your position and managing all process around this in line with our company standards is essential.
- You will manage all aspects of your employee rostering, annual leave while practicing good GDPR measures with these records in line with our GDPR policy.
- Ensure merchandising and presentation of entire store is always of the highest standard and in accordance with relevant store planograms and guidelines ensuring government guidelines of social distancing are adhered to.

Primary Purpose of the Role: To load, transport and deliver oil in a prompt, professional and safe manner in accordance with Company and legal standards. To ensure truck and maintenance schedules/paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
The Job:
Customers:
- To treat all customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- To provide all customers with a safe and professional service in accordance with company delivery procedures

Vehicles:
- Drive your vehicle is a courteous and safe manner with regard to other road users and in accordance with road legislation and company policies and procedures

Vehicle Loading And Delivery:

- Dip vehicle tanks daily or as required and ensure all stock figures are accurate and correct
- Ensure all delivery dockets are kept in an orderly fashion and handed into the office at the end of each day
- Complete daily and weekly vehicle checklists as required
- Read the Company Drivers Handbook carefully and follow the guidelines as required
- Complete detailed written incident reports
Cash:
- Ensure all cash received from customers is crosschecked with your daily reconciliation sheet and handed into the depot daily

- At all times carry out all operational aspects of job with regard to documented company policies, procedures and safety information contained in the Drivers Handbook and other Company documents

The Specialist – Contracts and Procurement is responsible for executing the purchasing and contracting activities of the Top Oil Business to ensure that required goods and services are sourced in a timely manner while ensuring quality, cost effectiveness and appropriate risk management.
The Specialist supports tendering for supply & services and the development and contractual administration of subsequent Contracts. The Specialist also supports the gathering and analysis of market intelligence and develops, implements and maintains measurement systems monitoring price movement, supplier performance, savings and capital purchases. The Specialist also ensures best practice and corporate alignment in the areas of Contracting, Prequalification, Delivery Planning & Procure- to-Pay (P2P).
Key Responsibilities:
General:
- Provide timely and cost-effective fulfilment of Top Oil’s procurement and contracting needs, ensuring that quality and safety are achieved, and that commercial and operational risk are minimized/mitigated.
- Conduct and maintain Commercial Management of Key Contracts through the full life-cycle (development of contract strategy, sourcing/tendering, negotiations, T&Cs, implementation, account maintenance and performance monitoring).
- Provide support and guidance to the Business in sourcing, selecting and prequalifying Suppliers & Contractors and bidding/awarding of Contracts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards and key procedures and minimize risk and cost exposure.
- Maintenance of contract files to document all agreements and negotiations, predetermine strategy for upcoming contracts, and to support required audit activity.
- Build strong internal and external networks and attain the highest level of customer service.
- Strive to achieve excellence in all aspects of contracts: planning, negotiation, execution and implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to maximise value/savings, minimise risk, and to optimise and streamline the contracting process process.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Analyse, categorise, and understand historic and forecast spend profile.
- Develop and maintain market intelligence.
- Develop and execute Sourcing Strategies.
- Research, identify & prequalify new Vendors based on cost, quality, HSE, service, solvency, reputation etc.

- Implement new contracts and ensure effective hand over to and understanding of contract & commercial terms by business stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder communications regarding Contract changes.
- Develop sound, fit for purpose contracts to the schedule requirements of the Business, using approved contract templates when possible; engage Legal when required to develop master agreements, call-offs, etc.

Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Law, Supply Chain, or relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Additional qualifications in Contracting and Commercial Management are an advantage.
Experience:
10+ years experience of:
- Sourcing and Contracting in an Engineering/Commercial environment.
- Managing rated and fixed price contracts, account settlements etc.
- Experience of Contracting in the Oil & Gas or Retail sector is an advantage.
- Contract drafting and negotiation of contract terms.
- Market research and analysis for different goods and services categories.
Critical Skills:
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills as well as proven technical skills in contract implementation, planning & execution.
